Service Maintenance Agreement Terms:
1. The service maintenance agreement will begin on the date of signing the contract. The initial time period will be one year and continue for following one year periods, unless cancelled. In order to cancel, WH Security must receive 30 days written notice before the end of that period. If cancelled before the end of the period, subscriber of the service maintenance agreement will be responsible for the remaining amount due for the initial agreement period (one year periods).
2. The service maintenance agreement will be a monthly payment of $5.00, plus sales tax. This is added to any amounts currently being paid to WH Security for services provided.
3. The service maintenance agreements will be billed in advance. Subscriber will be billed according to their monitoring payment schedule.
4. Servicing of a customer’s security system equipment is covered only during normal business hours. The service maintenance agreement will begin after the expiration of the initial free one-year labor warranty**
This service maintenance agreement covers labor and trip charges only, for all service work due to failure of the equipment which would include changing batteries, system checks, or failure due to normal wear and tear. The service maintenance agreement applies only during normal business hours. If service of the equipment is due to misuse or is caused by customer (ie: remodeling, change in phone lines or electrical wiring), or caused by natural disaster, the customer agrees to pay WH Security’s normal rates for the service call, including labor and trip charges.
6. This service maintenance agreement includes one free security system check annually. At this visit we check the operation of the system, clean any devices that require cleaning and check for any low batteries. It is the customer’s responsibility to schedule this visit.
7. This service maintenance is available during normal business hours. This excludes holidays and weekends. The customer will agree to pay WH Security’s after hours rate for the service call.
8. This agreement does not cover the cost of any equipment or parts, including batteries.
** On new systems, you receive a one year warranty that includes coverage on labor, parts, and trip. When you sign up for the Service Maintenance Agreement during your one year warranty, the service will start as soon as the warranty has expired. You do not receive a free annual system check during your one year complementary warranty, but one may be schedule at the cost to the consumer.
