The 911 emergency system was down in several areas nationwide for a few hours on Monday, September 28, but that had no effect on WH Security or its customers. WH International Response Center monitors all WH Security accounts. When your security system is triggered, the monitoring center receives an alert and calls the local authorities directly to get you the necessary help right away. Because WHIRC does not use 911, it was not impacted by the outage and there was no disruption of service.
