WH Security's "Stay at Home" action plan

Our work will continue uninterrupted when the "Stay at Home" order begins in Minnesota on Friday, March 27.

At 2 p.m. today, March 25, the Governor of Minnesota issued an executive “Stay at Home” order.

Under Department of Homeland Security guidelines, WH Security staff are designated "Essential Critical Infrastructure Workers." This means our work will continue uninterrupted when the "Stay at Home" order begins in Minnesota on Friday, March 27. You can expect to receive the same high-quality customer service and reliable security services that you are accustomed to.

We are taking these precautions to ensure both you and our staff are safe and to do our part to slow the spread of the virus:

  • Our lobby is closed, and we are temporarily suspending in-person pickups.
  • Our technicians continue to install systems and make service calls, but are limiting their trips to the office.
  • Technicians have been stocked with extra cleaning supplies and equipment to keep us all safe.
  • If you have an appointment scheduled, expect a phone call from WH Security. We will ask questions to be sure the appointment is safe for you and our staff.
    • If you have traveled by airplane within the past 14 days, the appointment will be rescheduled.
      • If you or anyone in the home is ill, the appointment will be rescheduled.
        • We are practicing “social distancing,” meaning that we always ask you to stay at least 6 feet from our technicians during the visit.
  • Our security specialists will continue to be available via phone as normal, between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
  • Our monitoring center remains open 24/7/365 to ensure that any alarm signal is responded to immediately.

Thank you for your cooperation as we do our part to keep our employees and communities safe.

Sincerely,

Wendy Youngren
